Fiona Davey is a printmaker and artist based in Melbourne/Naarm, her practice considers the connections between different patterns, surfaces, and forms within nature through an exploration of mark making. Each work is created through a layered approach of observtaion and memory and aims to express the Indescribable qualities and atmospheres experienced within natural spaces and the landscape that forge our connections to them.
Fiona graduated from a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Monash University in 2018 and has since exhibited across Australia and New Zealand with work held in Public and Private Collections. In 2024 Fiona had her first solo show, To Traverse a Mark, at the Firestation Print studio through the Shirley Joan Ross Scholarship. She has previously been a finalist in a number of art prizes; most recently being selected for the Lloyd Rees Emging Artist Awards 2025 and Lennox St Art Award 2025
